Electricity arrives
Tiny electricity flows into a coil of wire inside BoomBrix. The electricity keeps changing, and the pattern of changes is a copy of the song.
A BoomBrix speaker cannot sing. All it does is wiggle — thousands of times every second — in exactly the pattern the music tells it to.

When we switch from 60 Hz to 2,000 Hz, what will the cone do — move further, or move faster?
Tiny electricity flows into a coil of wire inside BoomBrix. The electricity keeps changing, and the pattern of changes is a copy of the song.
Electricity in a coil turns the coil into a magnet you can switch on and off. It pushes and pulls against a real magnet. So the coil jumps back and forth.
The coil is glued to a stiff paper cone. The cone wiggles. The air wiggles. Your ears catch it, and you hear the song.
Everything you just learned happens inside BoomBrix, the speaker that snaps onto your builds.
